Frequently asked questions about yoga classes

Solve all your doubts about yoga classes in Mallorca

What type of yoga is best for beginners?

For beginners we recommend Hatha yoga or Restorative Yoga, as they focus on basic postures and breathing techniques. Our classes are adapted for all levels, and the instructors always offer variations of each posture to suit your level of experience.

Do I need to bring my own mat?

It is not necessary, we have all the mats and props (blocks, belts, blankets) necessary for the practice. However, if you prefer to use your own mat for hygiene reasons, you are welcome to bring it. It is recommended to bring a small towel and a bottle of water.

How often should I practice yoga to see results?

To experience noticeable benefits, we recommend practising yoga at least 2-3 times a week. Even a regular weekly class can provide benefits for the body and mind. Consistency is more important than the length or intensity of each session, especially in the beginning.

What clothes should I wear to yoga classes?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Ideally, clothes that are not too loose (so that they don't get in the way during inversions) and not too tight (to allow for deep breathing). For Aerial Yoga, clothing that covers the armpits and behind the knees is recommended.

Do I need to book in advance for the classes?

Yes, we recommend booking your place in advance via our website or app, especially for popular classes such as Aerial Yoga or SUP Yoga which have limited places. Bookings can be made up to 1 hour before the class starts, subject to availability.

What is the difference between Hatha Yoga and Hatha Flow?

Hatha Yoga focuses on holding static postures and working on the breath, ideal for beginners and connecting with the fundamentals of yoga. Hatha Flow is more dynamic, connecting different postures through movement and breath, making it more physically intense and requiring more experience.

Do I need previous experience to practice Aerial Yoga?

No previous yoga or acrobatic experience is necessary. Our Aerial Yoga classes begin with a thorough introduction to the use of the hammocks and basic techniques. Groups are small to ensure personal attention, and classes are designed for all levels.

Can I practice yoga if I have an injury or medical condition?

Yoga can be adapted to many physical conditions, but it is important to inform the instructor before class of any injuries, medical conditions or pregnancy. Our teachers are trained to offer modifications to the postures. In specific cases, we recommend that you consult with your doctor before beginning the practice.
